Europa League: Slavia Prague defender Ogbu reflects on goal against Servette
Slavia Prague defender Igoh Ogbu said it was an amazing feeling to celebrate his goal in front of the club fans on Thursday night.
Slavia Prague defeated Swiss club, Servette 2-0 on the road in the UEFA Europa League clash.
Ogbu scored the Slavists second goal of the game 15 minutes from time.
The former Flying Eagles star celebrated the goal in front of the away fans.
The centre-back reflected on the goal in an interview with the club’s official website.
“I was happy, I immediately looked at the fans. It’s great to see them here, they needed something to put a smile on their face as they weigh a journey like this. I felt I wanted to celebrate with them. I’m glad we could make them happy,” he stated.
