Transfer: He’ll change Gunners’ mentality – Michallik advises Arsenal on player to sign

Former United States international, Janusz Michallik has said that Brentford’s Ivan Toney could transform Arsenal by changing the Gunners’ mentality if he joins the Premier League North London club this January transfer window.

Toney has been linked with a switch to Arsenal this month.

Arsenal have suffered a dip in form lately, which has seen them slip down to fourth position on the Premier League table.

However, Michallik feels it would make sense should the Englishman join Mikel Arteta’s side.

“Ivan Tony makes sense. I don’t know how long it is going to take him to pick up speed and get back to it,” Michallike told ESPN, as quoted by TBR Football.

“I know he’s been training for a long time. I don’t think it is an issue. He knows the league, he knows how to score in this league.”

He continued, “It seems that Arsenal are serious about him and I think he changes the mentality of that team all of a sudden.”
